Today the Kubuntu team is happy to announce that Kubuntu Zesty Zapus (17.04) is released today. With this Alpha 2 pre-release, you can see what we are trying out in preparation for 17.04, which we will be releasing in April.<\/p>\n

NOTE: This is Alpha 2 Release. Kubuntu Alpha Releases are NOT recommended for:<\/p>\n

* Regular users who are not aware of pre-release issues
\n* Anyone who needs a stable system
\n* Anyone uncomfortable running a possibly frequently broken system
\n* Anyone in a production environment with data or work-flows that need to be reliable<\/p>\n

Getting Kubuntu 17.04 Alpha 2
\n* Upgrade from 16.10, run do-release-upgrade from a command line.
