Welcome to Kubuntu 13.04, a brand new version\u00a0with the latest KDE software to enjoy.<\/p>\n
Download 13.04 now<\/a> or Upgrade from 12.10<\/a>.<\/p>\n For full details of software included see\u00a0Kubuntu on\u00a0Distrowatch<\/a><\/p>\n The current update release\u00a0of KDE’s Plasma Workspaces and Applications 4.10<\/a> adds a new\u00a0screen locker, Qt Quick notifications, colour correction in\u00a0Gwenview and faster indexing in the semantic desktop.<\/p>\n Included is is the new version of the Muon Suite<\/a> for app install and upgrades. It introduces support\u00a0for installing Plasma widgets found in KDE’s KNewStuff framework\u00a0from within Software Center and Muon Discover.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Version 2 of our web browser adds a bunch of new\u00a0features<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n A full screen alternative to the Kickoff\u00a0application menu, add it to your panel to give it a try.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n A new screen management tools makes it easy to\u00a0attach and unattach extra monitors.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Available on the default install is Oxygen Sans,\u00a0a new font from KDE’s artists.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Our painting application Krita now uses a nifty\u00a0new calculations library Vc making it twice as fast as before. It\u00a0also sports an artsy new black theme.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Our installer sports a professional new look<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n LibreOffice<\/a> has been\u00a0upgraded to Version\u00a04.0.1.2<\/a>.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Access your digital music player and smartphone\u00a0through MTP protocol.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Available in the archives is Tomahawk<\/a>, a new music player\u00a0which makes it easy to share your music with your friends over IM.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n For full details of software included see\u00a0Kubuntu on\u00a0Distrowatch<\/a><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Kubuntu should now be able to support UEFI Secure Boot<\/a>, a standard for controlling what software can\u00a0be run on a computer.
