The latest version of the Kubuntu operating system for desktop PCs and laptops, Kubuntu 17.10 supported with security and maintenance updates, until July 2018.
The download of Kubuntu 17.10 is currently discouraged due to an issue on certain Lenovo laptops. Once fixed this download will be enabled again.

Kubuntu 16.04.3 LTS
The Long Term Support (LTS) version of the Kubuntu operating system for desktop PCs and laptops, Kubuntu 16.04 LTS supported with security and maintenance updates, until April 2019.
Recommended for most users.

The previous Long Term Support (LTS) version of the Kubuntu operating system, supported with security and maintenance updates, until April 2019.
