KDE SC 4.8.5 has completed post-release quality assurance testing and is now available in the precise-updates repository for all Kubuntu 12.04 users. This is the last global KDE SC update planned by the KDE project for the 4.8.x series. Fixes for 12.04 will be limited to security fixes and selected high impact bug fixes when they become available.
All packages have been released and will be available shortly for users on their normal mirror as regular updates.
